Why can't we tolerate when someone changes, for example when someone acts different or comes from a diffrent place, like when Stargirl is new and she dresses and acts different?
I think it's hard for us because it is out of, "the norm". Sometimes we are just afraid of change and when something like that comes along, we become defensive shutting everyone and everything out that is different.
To answer jocleynn question people sometimes are scared of change they dont realize that change is a good thing. They treat stargirl different because they are not use to her, they are use to everything the way it is and they have never had someone like her before.
