Relating this to the real world, most people don't accept someone who goes to extremes to be different. Why is Leo so interested in what star girl does?
well brenton i think that the world isnt ready for all of the star girls to come out. i think leo is interested because she is cute and he wants to get to know her ;)
I think that Leo is interested in what stargirl does because she is different. Stargirl doesn't try to fit into dumb trends; she is just, herself. She feels she should show the world how she feels. Have the world look through her eyes. In the book, it seems to be that stargirl doesn't hide behind a mask, that so many of us are trapped by. She lets the world and everyone know who she really is. She isn't afraid to be herself.
